Nishii and Arashi's "SMOOTH OPERATOR" DOUBLE DART riding and review!
Check out the latest riding footage of professional surfer Arashi Murata on Love Surf's top model for 2024, The Ripper. These rides were filmed at a beach break in Chiba. The Ripper is a performance board, but it also has easy-to-ride paddling performance and enhanced propulsion, making it a slightly wide and voluminous performance board that can be ridden by mid-level and middle-aged surfers. Because of its voluminous design, this shortboard design is not so much suited to competitions, but rather to surfers who want to keep ripping and can ride it in any condition for everyday surfing. It allows for sharp movements and speed that are not possible with a fishboard, and offers easy paddling and take-off performance, so it is recommended for surfers who want to ride it all with just one board, regardless of the conditions, from knee-high waves to overhead waves, and whether the wind is good or bad.
