Here's the LOST team's first day report from the QS6000 Ichinomiya Chiba Open!

"Mason Ho"
He surfed round 1 alone on a wave off the bank that went way off to the right, but he didn't do any good and was eliminated. He can't show his true potential unless he's on rock, so I hope he'll try his best next time in a contest with waves that are suitable for the Wild West.

"Noah Beschen"
During practice, he had been nailing his aerials, but it seems he was nervous in his first QS 6000 points contest, and he was eliminated in round 1 in 4th place. As a 17-year-old high school student, he was nervous on the big stage. This was also a good experience for him as he travels around the world competing on the QS Tour.

Colt Ward
He's an experienced rider, so he made a comeback on the last ride and won the heat. He did well in the heat with big turns, solid lines and few wipeouts.

"Kei Kobayashi"
He showed good surfing skills during practice and won the first round.
This was the final heat of the first day, 22. The highlight was this blow tail, which earned him the highest score of any single maneuver of the day. The high spray shows his speed and the quickness of the board's turn. We can expect good wave conditions tomorrow as well, so we're looking forward to seeing him show off his high-performance surfing. The board he's riding is
a POCKET ROCKET !
