"The wave that allows you to perform the most outrageous maneuvers in the world" - Lower Trestles is the annual WCT event Boost Mobile Pro, where WCT surfers excite the audience with unimaginable maneuvers.
The 2006 tournament will see 47 surfers competing, with Kelly Slater as last year's winner in 2005.
Led by 2004 winner Joel Parkinson, along with Taj Burrow, Andy Irons, Mick Fanning and others who consistently rank highly in Trestles competitions, the event will feature high points and new maneuvers.
Three young wildcards, Dean Reynolds, Jamie O'Brien, and the surfer everyone wants to see, Rob Machado, will be challenging the world's best.

This is Mr. A, a top surfer from Aichi Prefecture, who came to Chiba to buy an SD2 S-CORE. He got his new board and headed back to Chiba. He will be enjoying surfing in Chiba until the weekend before returning to Aichi Prefecture.
This is Mr. K. His surfing mentor, who he always goes to the beach with, rides a Presebo and recommended it to him, so he bought it. He's looking forward to riding it.
Mr. K had asked various questions on the bulletin board of the website and compared the two sizes before purchasing. He had seen many people using round nose fish at the sea and noticed how quickly they could take off.
This was a long-awaited purchase, as he had always wanted to try riding it himself.
