What model should I ride after RIPQUEST or POWERQUEST?

We have been hearing this kind of feedback from many customers recently, so we approached Mayhem to create a model that would meet these requests. Mayhem took the time to carefully design and shape the board, imagining that it would be ridden by Japanese surfers in their 30s and 40s, who are intermediate or above, which is the age range they are comfortable with.

The test board for this "Japan-exclusive LOST new model" was created by Paul from Ghetto House, a lamination expert in San Clemente.

Chucky is the general-level test rider.

I posted a photo of Chucky riding this board in a previous blog post, so I'm sure some of you were curious about the model.

This is a new tri-fin model with a buoyant squash tail designed by MAYHEM for Japanese users, based on the hit model ``SUB-DRIVER'' from 2011-12.

The rocker on the nose has also been lowered like this to improve paddling performance.

The tail width is also wide, making it easier to pick up speed and ride gently.
Chucky said he wanted the exact same 5'10" board he test rode,
Since this is a Japan-only model, you can't buy this "Japan-only LOST new model" in other countries.
I fell in love with it after a test ride, so I gave him special permission and he immediately placed a custom order.
Chucky said that due to his weight gain, his SUB-DRIVER was no longer providing enough buoyancy.
