This is a riding video of development rider Chris Ward riding a Lancer Evolution that is 5'8" in size, shorter than the previous 5'11".
The shorter length allows for tighter turns and more radical riding.
This proves that even a short Lancer Evolution can handle waves of this size.
Ward said that no matter which FLEXLITE-TURBO board he rides, the board itself is light and feels great.
The big turns are tenacious, and the carving with rails creates a lot of spray.
The Dolphin Grab Rail, which was first used on this model and caused a stir, even Ward said, "It makes duck diving easier."
He also said that because the board is sturdy, he can surf to his heart's content even when it's crowded, without worrying about coming into contact with other people, more so than with the usual POLY.
This model is recommended for those who want to surf with a large line and make big turns.
