Today I took some photos at LOWERS.

Nishii: With the current water temperature in San Clemente, California,
FU WAX COOL is used on the top.
The wetsuit is a full suit made of 3mm rubber and jersey.
This is the new HAGOROMO model of the "ANCHOR" wetsuit.

Today the wind was blowing from the south from the left side, making for rough waves.
When the waves are rough or choppy, the rails tend to get caught.
I took a firmer stance on the board than usual, and tried to hold the board down.
If you make careful turns, avoiding sudden movements, you will be less likely to get caught and lose speed, allowing you to surf.

The waves look good in the photo, but the surface is bumpy and difficult to ride.
As I mentioned earlier, Nishii also tried his best to get the photos to look like this.

Nishii and Masaki are taking a break as the wind gets stronger.
However, for the second round, the wind died down and the conditions improved, allowing us to take some photos with some better waves.

Recently I've been using FCSII fins. They're a lightweight, soft fin with no carbon fiber.
The size is M. In Japan, we prefer S size, but in the open-faced waves of the Trestle,
I use the larger M size so I can make drive turns.
FCSII fins have not yet been produced in time, so there are still few in stock at surf shops in Japan.
Luvsurf has a large stock of FCS II fins, so be sure to purchase these as they will become the standard in the future.
You can purchase FCSII fins here.
