In response to such high demand, we asked world-class surfboard designer MAYHEM to help us develop and research this model, which is sold exclusively in Japan.
The friendly, rounded nose design is combined with the well-balanced, gently curved rocker design to provide stability and forward movement while paddling.
The Triple Wing, designed to narrow the tail towards the rear end to make it easier to control a longer board with your back foot, combined with Mayhem's signature Rocket Tail tail design makes the board feel like it's about 4 inches shorter. This tail design is responsive and helps with board control.
It also comes equipped with a "dolphin grab rail" that helps you sink a long board with less effort when dolphin-through. This "dolphin grab rail" prevents fatigue from being exerted when actually dolphin-throughing, which is done multiple times in large waves, and helps maintain paddling power, making it an essential design for a Japan-only model.
