From Malaysia!
I arrived safely in Malaysia.
We are currently touring the Kuantan area with the tour members and local surfers as our guide.
This is Cherating, a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
This is a point break where you can ride great distances.
There are also a few local surfers.
Irene is an office worker living in Kuala Lumpur and is taking a long holiday in January to surf here.
The only surf shop is called Satsk Surf Shop.
Malaysia is said to be the kingdom of insects, with lots of insects, large plants, and even snakes.
Here we are enjoying a Malaysian meal of fish, chicken and vegetables, all shared.
This is a point break that was created by chance in a man-made mine.
There are also Goofy points like this.
The beach is deserted and there are plenty of waves breaking that are perfect for surfing.

I have a 5-fin Uber Fish and a 4-fin Quadlow. They're working great!

It's the rainy season now, and the rain comes and goes, but the water temperature is like leftover bath water.
The best season is said to be between December and March, so why not escape the cold of Japan and take a surf trip to Malaysia? The ocean will be empty!
