What is the model of Julian Wilson's MAYHEM board?
Julian Wilson recently visited the Mayhem board factory.
I came to pick up my board to use for the upcoming world tour.
Kolohe and I are good friends and will be touring together on the same NIKE team.
These two surfers, representing the next generation, have many tricks that only they can do, so it will be interesting to see how the judges evaluate them.
The two athletes are backed by Nike and train like other athletes.
First up is Australia, with the first race at Gold Coast on February 25th and the second at Bells Beach.
Mayhem is also heading to Australia to see Kolohe's performance and, of course, to give him some shape.
The essential model that Julian Wilson had requested from MAYHEM was a total of eight pieces, the details of which were as follows:
6'1" WHIPLASH (2 pieces)
6'05" DRIVER 2
6'0" F1-STUB 1 piece
6'05" F1-STUB 2
5'5" RNF 1 piece
It's pretty common for Julian Wilson to be asked to write F1-STUB or DRIVER, so I'm not really surprised.
What's interesting is that you ordered RNF. I mentioned it on the 24'S blog before, but you also ordered Dane Reynolds.
They're the generation that grew up watching the 5'5" x 19 1/4" VHS movie of LOST.
Even today, the world's number one MAYHEM round nose board is a board that everyone should own.
Nishii also really wanted to ride one now, so he asked Mayhem for help this year.
Round nose boards are likely to become popular in Japan this year!
In the WSL Tahiti match, Griffin Colapinto made a great advance.
Seeded third in the 2025 WSL Final Five!
The number one ranking is "Yago Dora"
For women, we have three people who we announced in yesterday's BLOG,
Five of the ten men and women who will advance to the 2025 WSL Final Five
Being the Lost surfboard team means they are an extremely strong team.
Erin Brocks also won Rookie of the Year!
I enjoy riding fish, mid and alternative boards because of the unique design.
Even a garage shaper can make a rideable board,
Shaping a top-level high-performance surfboard for the WSL is like shaping an F1 car - it's delicate and requires extensive testing.
The results of these WSL tour surfers speak for themselves, as the Lost surfboards shaped and designed by MAYHEM are fast, maneuverable, and perform to such an extent.
Nishii is currently on a trip to Indonesia with Mayhem.
Mayhem did not return to California after this trip.
Apparently they're heading to Fiji for the WSL Final Five!

After finishing the WSL World Tour match at Trestles PRO in California,
Lost Surfboards has taken the top spot in the Shepherds rankings by a huge margin!
With such a big gap, it seems almost impossible for other brands to make a comeback.
The points of this WSL Shepherds Ranking are
Points will be awarded to the results of players who advance from the quarterfinals to the finals of the WSL World Tour.
He has won the Shepherd's Ranking World Title for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.
Since it will be held in 2025, it is almost certain that it will be held for the third consecutive year.
Unlike fish and mid-boards, which are big enough to ride despite their vague shape,
The DRIVER3.0 is a super high-performance surfboard that requires delicate shaping techniques, a large number of test boards, and feedback from our talented team of riders during riding, and its performance is reflected in the points it receives in this ranking!
The WSL Lexus PRO will be held on Thursday, June 12th local time.
The size of the waves has decreased a little, and the forecast is for the waves to increase over the weekend, so
The contest is set to start on the 15th.
Nishii went down to the beach at the contest venue and set up the camera like this to take the photos.
I got a VIP pass so I could relax in the VIP area.
Breakfast and lunch are also provided, so I can spend the tournament in comfort.
In my off time, I have a few new boards that I haven't ridden yet, so
I'm filming those board riding scenes.
We can't wait to show you all these new boards on YouTube!
