Heritage Express Session Report: DAY 4 Hurley Pro Lowers
The Heritage Express session took place today.
This heat was heating up.
In the foreground, Shane Horan made a big turn smoothly.
Simon Anderson in the back had a big body and a vertical lip.
The winner was Sean Thomson, who caught several great waves.
LOST's oldest team rider, Michael Ho, was aiming for big, set waves, as is typical of Hawaiians.
The lip style is still a tradition of the Ho family.
The deck grip was a cool, unstrung style.
Everyone is still better at surfing than they were when they were active!
I thought maybe it was because surfboard performance had improved.
