Must see! ▪️Watch the explanatory video from LOST's "RETRO RIPPER-JP" designer himself, "MAYHEM"!

Must see! ▪️Check out the explanatory video from LOST's " RETRO RIPPER-JP " designer himself, "MAYHEM"! RETRO RIPPER-JP : A truly fun and cool-looking board Well, this is the carbon wrap version. This is the logo for " RETRO RIPPER-JP " It is based on the single wing, round tail RETRO RIPPER that was released worldwide. Development of " RETRO RIPPER-JP" began with Nishi's request The request was for a board based on the RETRO RIPPER that could be used in small to medium waves in Japan. And instead of a wide squash, I want a little more buoyancy in the tail area. So I tried combining the Double Wing and Super Swallow. The double wing creates a wide, straight outline between the stances that provides excellent acceleration. Then, with the double wing, we narrowed the tail outline and created a narrow swallow tail. The narrow swallow allows for delicate control that the RETRO RIPPER cannot provide, allowing for surfing that doesn't miss the power zone. The control performance in this rear foot area is a perfect match for Japan, and was exactly what Nishi requested. I think this is a really good design It can handle anything from small waves to head-sized waves without any stress. I didn't say it was small wave specific because it's a stringerless EPS carbon wrap. Ultra-lightweight and highly resilient flex for excellent response A narrow tail outline and swallow tail, as well as a slightly wide center and flat deck. Other designs are influenced by the retro series. The 80's style beak nose allows the thickness to be left all the way to the nose. This significantly improves paddling performance and allows for quick takeoff. The gentle rocker and voluminous nose area allow you to gain speed when paddling. The rails and other parts also incorporate ideas from the Retro series. Sharp and extremely sharp rails cut off from a flat deck There is no thick rail feel at all. But this rail has buoyancy Extremely down-concave rails, but the bottom rails are single concave, resulting in a softer round. This single concave lifts the board and adds rocker to the rails. So you can surf the top and bottom of the wave freely and stay in your power zone. It also has a slight double concave between the fins. The Retro series includes the MAYHEM logo that I first wrote in 1987, as well as the rail logo. The slightly flashy 80s design is fun. Modern carbon wrap and concave, taking what I've learned over the last 30 years and translating it into a modern version. Making it more fun and cool It's like following history It's like making fun memories (laughs). This is " RETRO RIPPER-JP " [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/328683629[/vimeo]

Must see! ▪️Check out the explanatory video by "MAYHEM", the designer of Placebo's "DIABLO-X"!

▪️Check out the explanatory video by Placebo's "DIABLO-X" designer, "MAYHEM"! This is getting me excited This is Presebo's latest model, " DIABLO-X " This is a very important model from Lost, which has been very popular in Japan for the past few years. A high-performance hybrid model It's not a high-performance board with a narrow nose, nor is it a small-wave board with a wide nose and tail. The high-performance hybrid category began with the release of the Rocket 10 years ago. A mix of different designs Grab rails are one of them. And the Super Swallow with elevator wing and narrowed tail width. I want you to pay attention to this, the curved single concave Deep single concave provides strong rail rocker Single concave gradually flattens towards the tail end for increased control This rear foot section has a loose double concave within a single concave. The center concave is 6mm deeper than the tail The bottom is almost flat from about 60cm from the nose, which increases the buoyancy in the nose area. The strong rail rocker in this area provides excellent turning performance. However, the center section is a little straight, which creates a strong water current and increases speed. The elevator wings gently spread out, creating a wide outline. The outline can be made wider and the control performance is good if you stand on the elevator wing line. Pushing further back than the wing makes it easier to make more powerful, punchy turns. If it's in front of the wing it's carving, if it's behind it it's a punchy snap turn. Still, it's good for surfers who don't want to stress about a difficult high-performance surfboard. It retains the rocker and sensitive rails of a high-performance board, but adds buoyancy and responsiveness. This is Presebo's " DIABLO-X " [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/329761955[/vimeo]

I recommend the new technology "C4"! Cork decks are clearly different!

I recommend the new technology "C4"! Cork decks are clearly different. Nishii surfboard test course, We're testing our new C4 board technology at Trestles in California. When I rode on these smooth waves, I felt a huge, clear difference! It allows you to turn comfortably and easily even when the sea surface is rough. The C4 board is made of cork, which absorbs shock, sound, and vibration. When I tried riding on a wave like this, it felt even smoother than normal! When the waves are good, you can really see the performance of the board! Being able to test the boards on such amazing waves reminded me once again that the boards shaped by MAYHEM are highly refined, fast, dynamic, and in good condition. I highly recommend "C4" to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. It is stripped from trees and processed to make Feel the difference in the comfort of a board covered in cork!

PLACEBO 『DIABLO-X』 Flexlite-Limited! Session with Chucky Part 2!

At the Southside Pier in Huntington Beach, where the northwesterly wind waves from last night were still lingering, I had my second round of photoshoot with Chucky! The board is the same as last time, the PLACEBO 5'8" DIABLO-X Flexlte-Limited ! As promised last time, Chucky has changed his fins from size M to size L this time. This is the `` MF L-size TRI fin '', which is popular worldwide. Fins are a very important part of surfing, and just like surfboards, they need to be chosen to suit the waves. In small waves or thick waves that don't dig in, use small fins to make tight turns. For large waves or wave conditions where you need to run sideways, use large fins. It's a good idea to be able to make big turns. Chucky also has a PLACEBO 5'8" DIABLO-X Flexlite-Limited . I was surfing with large fins and holding the turn. It looked like he was in good shape! Today there was a lot of riding towards the backside, Since it's " DIABLO-X ", you can ride long distances, Chucky had gone south in the blink of an eye. This is the placebo version of DIABLO-X , the best-selling model in LOST in 2018. The Flexlte-Limited is a premium construction boat with a flexible and powerful Texalium deck. 10 "5'8"", 20 "5'9", 10 "5'10", This is a limited edition model with a total of 40 units, so be sure to get yours before they sell out! This fair is available now!

The ultimate combination test board is complete! LOST 『EVIL TWIN-JP』C4 Technology!

MAYHEM is working with C4 Technology, If you combine this model with LOST's "EVIL TWIN-JP" He said he thought it would be the best board, I ordered, Now that the test board for that combination has been completed, I got on right away!!! LOST "EVIL TWIN-JP" C4 Technology! The fins are MR twin fins, We put LOST's original fins in the center box and tested them in "Twin +1". I was able to turn with more rail lean than with the Single Fin +2. That means it would also go well with PLACEBO "ZEKE" !! I didn't have much time so I could only ride for about an hour, It felt good for a first session. As expected, the shock-absorbing effect of cork on surfing can be clearly felt! Well, Love Surf is also selling well, and there is no need for a human photographer. The automatic tracking robot camera "SOLO SHOT3" I think it's because the product was released earlier in California, where the distributor is based, than in Japan. More people use it than in Japan. Nishii has also become a common sight in Chiba on Sundays recently, Today in San Clemente, California, six units were in use with tripods set up on the beach. The surfing photos of Nishii featured this time were also captured from footage shot with " SOLO SHOT3 "! " SOLO SHOT3 " is a very excellent surf gear, so please give it a try! If you take a photo regularly, you can see your own surfing and make corrections every time. You'll definitely improve your surfing, and best of all, it's fun because you get to watch your own surfing every time!

Sneak peek! Report on the San Clemente "LOST Surfboards Exclusive" Glassing Factory!

Located in San Clemente, California, this is a LOST surfboard store. I sneaked into the GLASSING factory and here's my report! In this glass factory dedicated to LOST, We are currently producing resin tint color boards to be sent to Japan. The colorful "Resin Tint Color" takes more time and effort to produce than a clear board, but not only does it improve the texture of the board, it also increases its strength, and discoloration over time or due to exposure to sunlight is less noticeable, allowing you to ride in beautiful color for a long time, so at Love Surf we recommend "Resin Tint Color". Compared to boards made by simply painting foam with an airbrush, "Resin Tint Color" has a luxurious texture and gives the color depth and shading, making the board stand out more like a work of art. The resin is rolled up from the bottom and then semi-hardened on the rail, giving it a short time to be cut with a cutter. This is the moment when the cutter can carefully hand-cut the resin along the outline. This is done by the factory manager, Petty. This is a process called hot coating, where a thin layer of clear resin is applied with a brush to create the top layer of resin tint color. At this time, the tail is taped to create the edges. The person doing the work is veteran "Chato." The "resin tint color" is completed by repeatedly applying glass to the deck and bottom. Resin tint color boards are more expensive than clear boards because they require more time and effort to work with, but please know that they offer value and functionality that far exceeds their price! The RNF-ULTRA, a new genre of board known as the "MID-FISH" board, is a hot topic. "SHONAN WARRIOR" is currently being pre-ordered by surfers at small wave beaches, Stock boards such as the ever-popular "RNF-RETRO" model, which is always out of stock, are scheduled to arrive in May! We are currently accepting pre-orders, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us with any questions or inquiries. Please call us at 03-3732-5532 or use this contact form ! We can also advise you on board sizes and provide information on available colors!
