Today Nishii is testing a prototype of Hydroflex's Japan-exclusive material. The model is F1-STUB, and there are still some areas we would like to improve, so stay tuned! I heard that the Lucky Buster glass board was finished at LOST Surfboards, so I went to check it out. COUCH POTATO/WHITE x GREEN RESIN TINT COLOR The green color part contains tiny glitter sparkles! COUCH POTATO/WHITE x BLUE RESIN TINT COLOR The blue collar contains tiny glitter sparkles! There's even a pink board! These COUCH POTATOes are lucky baster glass boards sent to Luvsurf. The COUCH POTATO with FUTURE fins comes with these luxurious LOST5 fins! Custom-ordered V2-RCKET model The texture of resin colors cannot be expressed with an airbrush. It's foggy again today. Only beachside. We went to LOWERS where the waves looked better than yesterday. It was foggy and cloudy, but there were some waves starting to appear. The board is SUB-SCORCHER2. Kei-kun also participated in the shoot. As his body has grown, his success rate in air reversals has increased dramatically. Here are my impressions from today's experience riding the SUB-SCORCHER2 in a lumbar and chest wave. The semi-flat deck shape makes the board feel bulky when you hold it. There is a 20cm flipped rocker at the tip of the nose, so the nose is less likely to pierce the water surface during takeoff and riding. You can attack the hollow sections of small waves. Nishii was saved several times by this nose design, as the nose did not get stuck even when he made a move that looked like it might result in a wipeout. The board moves in a linear fashion, moving top and bottom rather than curving. This board is designed for high performance surfing in waves that don't have the power that would make you want to ride a fish board. This board sinks and rebounds even in small waves, even with weak width and buoyancy, allowing you to gain speed. The same feeling can be seen in Kolohe's riding video on the special page. This morning we were shooting in foggy Huntington Beach, the town where Chucky lives. Chucky is using a 5'8" TABLET II as the waves are thick and heavy this morning during high tide. Masato chose the SUB-SCRCHER2. Nishii is a 5'7" V3-ROCKET. Chucky chose the board that best suited the wave conditions and had a string of great rides! I came up feeling tired. The tide was going out and the side onshore winds were getting stronger during the afternoon round. Chucky chose BEACH BUGGY. He was doing a great job ripping the small waves breaking along the inside pier. Nishii is a 5'8" TITAN. Masato saw Chucky's incredible surfing on the 5'8" TABLET II in the morning and wanted to try it out. When I saw Chucky stretching from the pier, It looks like this. Nishii and Masato are about to enter the sea. From above, you can clearly see how clear the water is. Masato, on his first ride of the 5'8" TABLET II, commented that this wave has a fast takeoff, can do lip and air, and can be used in competitions. I was amazed. He was taking off at high speed, kicking off long waves. The TABLET II model is aimed at senior surfers aged 35 and over. Even a 21-year-old pro says it's in great condition, making it the No. 1 standard shortboard of the future. All three of us spent the whole day today switching boards and filming videos. Today, I checked out various spots, but I ended up surfing UPPERS. Last night, Hiroki and Chucky arrived in San Clemente and we met up to go on a photo shoot. It was cloudy and cold for California, but the light rain stopped quickly. Hiroki chose the new model, Precevo "TITAN" 5'10" and applied FU WAX. Masato is still using the Lost SUB-SCORCHER2 model. Masato injured his elbow when it hit the fin when the Air Riva landed in the water. Chucky quickly performed a series of backside lips on the Presebo 5'10" TABLET2! Nishii is a Precevo 5'7" "V3-RCOKET", The size and CL value are just right, and the paddling and surfing are great! When you go to the LOST surfboard factory... In the silkscreen room, new color stickers for LOST were being produced! The "SUB-DRIVER-JP" model is so popular that there aren't enough marks left. The laminated mark was reprinted. There are also many ARTIC forms lined up inside the factory. HYDRO FLEX has released Nishii's test model "F1-STUB" The new carbon rail board was delivered. This will be a Japan-exclusive model with new rail material, developed for the Japanese market. As I was looking at the new test board outside, a man named Jay Adams approached me. He joked, "It's light and nice, why don't you give it to me?" I went to see how far LUCKY BUSTERDS' glass had progressed. First, I made two pieces using the trash technique, and they were almost complete. This is 5'3". Blue Green is 5'4". The mismatched duo LUCKY BUSTERDS. But I think his glass skills are the best in the world. They will take responsibility for finishing the job, even sanding it. The glasses have such unexpected color combinations. Team Luvsurf will be filming again tomorrow!

It's Saturday and the weather is good, Apparently the waves have been good for three days in a row, so the usually crowded LOWERS has become even more crowded! After surfing, I went to Lost Surfboards, which I introduced on my blog yesterday. I heard that there were several boards glassed by "Lucky Bastards," so I went to see them and would like to introduce them to you. It's a dark art piece. The front and back and left and right are different colors, giving it a stylish look. The pattern is expressed using a combination of the same color and glitter. The surface of the glass has a glossy polished finish. The colour is well done. They are truly amazing craftsmen, able to create designs like this using resin colors! We are looking forward to the completion of the 10 limited edition boards that will be imported to Japan! This mark will appear on boards glassed by "Lucky Bastards"!

This is to order a board from LUCKY BASTARDS. LUCKY BASTARDS is a two-person glass artisan team. They have a great sense of color and specialize in premium glass. This is a technique called trashing. By making good use of the cross weave, we have created a luxurious texture like this. The boards that LUCKY BASTARDS finish are not only fun to ride, but also fun to look at. It contains fine glitter! This use of color is very European. If you look closely, you can see that this board has blue glitter in it. Unlike airbrushing, it creates a deep, rich color. I asked MAYHEM to make some shapes for Love Surf, and they were completed, I came to meet with them and ask them what design colors they wanted. This is an ultra-premium board with only 10 being imported to Japan in 2013. Masato came to pick me up at the airport today, and Mayhem is heading to Australia tomorrow. Both of them are wearing NECK TANS.
