Sorry for the wait, here's the J.W. riding video for "DRIVER"
Luvsurf TV: MAYHEM "DRIVER" Julian Wilson Rider: Julian Wilson Board used: MAYHEM "DRIVER" FILM: Kouji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM We've kept you waiting for a long time. Here is a collection of riding clips of Julian Wilson, the 2012 US-OPEN winner. The LOST/MAYHEM board he was riding in front of the large crowd was the DRIVER model. In line with the wave quality of HB, which is not good at all, JW's board choice was the high performance MAYHEM DRIVER, which has been given buoyancy. Apparently, the idea is to take off as quickly as possible and turn as many times as possible, even if it's just the first time, in order to gain speed and fly in the air section. The DRIVER model is the driving force behind the cool surfing that never gets boring, incorporating air into normal riding almost every time. See the quality of the distance and speed of rotation as the front and back sides rotate vertically and horizontally.

Learn moreThe Japanese version of the popular model from the USA is LOST's "ORCA"!
The USA version of the ORCA model, the Japan-exclusive model for small waves, is called the Bottom Feeder. It is a big seller in the USA, but this model has a thinner nose outline, no single wing, MAYHEM has a great design for the Japanese version of ORCA, and the waves are much bigger than in Japan. This board is designed for California, where the waves are great. Nishii also confirmed that Mayhem is not just about small waves, I use this model in pretty good waves too. MAYHEM, the designer of ORCA, is also very fond of it and has a set of different lengths. The bottom is the opposite of a concave, with a gentle dome shape like the bottom of a boat, allowing for easy control of wide boards. This ORCA is a cool board designed for the extremely crowded, small waves of Japan, and is a very popular design in the USA. The asymmetrical color design is cool. New designs for 2013 are also available for surf skates! The deck has a clear grip that brings out the deck's design color. Other new models are also being unveiled for the first time. The popular V2-ROCKET surfboard model is now available as a surf skate! Learn moreThis morning's LOWERS session & "NIKE US OPEN" report
This may come as a surprise, but Nishii is in CALIFORNIA. This was T-Street this morning. Beautiful waves were breaking slowly. When you get to LOWERS, As expected, this seems to be the largest size. There were a lot of good people riding MAYHEM boards. I think he was probably a player who participated in the US Open. Owen Wright was also there. The fins were POWER BASE. This girl is a ROCKET. TAJI, of course, is the WHIPLASH-TB model. There doesn't seem to be any sponsor stickers. It's written in magic marker. The Mayhem is my favorite V2-ROCKET model. He seemed to be in good shape. Those who make it and those who ride it. After videotaping the two of them riding, I went to the NIKE US OPEN. There are also many people on the north side of the pier. The south side of the pier, which is the event venue, was also packed with people. It's summer vacation, so there are a lot of students. If you line up, you can get various goods or win prizes. Is he Brett Simpson's dad? You have a MAYHEM board. F1-STUB + Julian Wilson Carissa Moore Cocoho Both of them have nails? Manicure? It's very girly. Let's hope Julian Wilson does his best tomorrow. Tomorrow is the No. 10 round with three heats. Once the surf contest is over, the Music Opener concert will begin! The beach was buzzing with people and loud noises. Well, I'll report back tomorrow.

Nishii recommends these two Precebo summer small wave models! Presto "FISHQUEST 2" model It has plenty of buoyancy and can be ridden short, so it quickly goes up and down in small waves and gains speed. The perfectly rounded outline makes it easy to turn, and in a word, it's a board that can move around and get speed. The long VEE bottom at the tail of the bottom allows the thick board to move with ease, making it a special magic bottom design for small waves that Mayhem is good at. The combination with the concave is so beautiful that it's hard to put into words. The other one is, Presebo "RNF-EVOLUTION" model The board is long so it starts off as quickly as a longboard. The rounded nose and wide center make it easy to take off without the paddle shaking. The thin rails allow for smooth, responsive turns in small waves, rather than the insensitive feel of a funboard. Click here for the special page for "RNF-EVOLUTION"! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/placebo_RNFevo.html Click here for a detailed explanation of Nishii's design for "RNF-EVOLUTION"! http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=12210 Many people who have borrowed and ridden this board from someone who owns it have found it to be so good that they want one for themselves and have ended up buying one. It's a well-designed board that can handle waves of a certain size, so it would be a shame to use it only for small waves. Dane Reynolds, who grew up watching the VHS version of LOST, The other day, when I came to pick up the RNF model I ordered from LOST, The Mayhem RNF model is such a great model that I've even said that if I could only have one board in the world, it would be the RNF. Indeed, DANE has recently designed models influenced by RNF and ORCA. It's currently in stock and can be purchased from our online store! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_search/rootCategoryId,126/childCategoryId,127/
Learn moreNishii recommends these two LOST boards for midsummer small waves!
Nishii recommends these two LOST board models for small waves in midsummer! Lost "FISHQUEST 2" model The rounded nose provides stability when paddling and moves forward smoothly without any wobble. The rounded, thick rails on both side rails of the bottom allow the board to lean easily as if riding a thin board, and the stepped elevator wings assist in turns. The long VEE bottom design that extends from the tail end to the front fin is a very well-designed combination, and even though it's large, it moves well, so we recommend riding it with a larger board so that it feels like it has more buoyancy. For example, even someone weighing around 50 kg can control a 5'10" size. We recommend riding a larger board, so to make dolphin-throughs easier, the dolphin grab makes it easier to grip the rails and dive the board deep under the water. It may be difficult to convey how easy it is unless you actually do it, but it really is easy to dolphin-through. Thinner sizes are also available, and we recommend the thinner size for those looking for more action, but we recommend the thicker size for those who are not confident in paddling. Click here for the special page for "FISHQUEST 2"! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/fishquest2.html Click here for the list of stock boards that you can ride immediately in "FISHQUEST 2"! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_stock.html#fishquest2 The other one is, Lost "ORCA" model This board really takes off as quickly as a long board. It's perfect for the small waves of the super crowded summer season, where it really shines in crowded waters. Recently, when the water got crowded on the ORCA, I was paddling to a peak a little further away, and I ended up sliding off into a wave I hadn't intended to ride, which surprised me. The bottom is dome-shaped, the opposite of a concave, and although it is the widest of LOST's models, it moves smoothly and easily, making it a board that makes small waves fun. Some people who purchased the 5'10" find that it moves well, so they then purchase the next size up, 5'11", and because it moves well even though it is larger, they are able to further improve their take-off and paddling performance and enjoy surfing. This is a Japan-only model that we highly recommend to those who often go surfing in places like Shonan, Kokufu Beach, and Isonoura. This board will remind you that surfing can be fun even in small waves. This board is a theoretically designed board from MAYHEM, which is said to be the best in the world when it comes to shaping edgy fish.
