"ANCHOR" WETSUITS 2013 WINTER catalogue photography.
Today we shot the 2013 Winter catalogue for ANCHOR WETSUITS at a studio in Yokohama. In the scorching heat, I was sweating profusely after photographing about 10 semi-dry suits. The photographer is Kenyu, so as you'd expect, the lighting setup is professional. The neckline has been updated with the latest designs, including high neck, barrier, and flap. It takes a considerable amount of time to photograph each piece in detail. The 2013 lineup consists of three models: "HAGOLOMO," "GETTO," and "ATOMIC." The neck-in type "ATOMIC" model has been improved for easier attachment and detachment, making it Nishii's top recommended model. The new purple fabric is soft, lightweight, and comfortable to the touch. The sleeves also feature a new soft hollow fiber material. The female model for the RINCON wetsuit, who was photographed at the same time, is Minami, a former fine model and well-known model. This blue thermal fabric is made from corn fiber, a new, environmentally friendly material that will return to the soil. We will also be introducing surf jackets made from WET fabric. The luxurious texture, which is made by repeatedly applying thin layers of WET Bond to 1mm jersey, looks cool, Extremely waterproof! Keeps out cold wind and rain. The Placebo container arrived today. Approximately 300 bottles are packed tightly into a 20-foot container. The Lost & Placebo test drive event was held at Higashinami Beach in north Chiba. A test drive event sponsored by Murasaki Sports was held in Torami, northeast Chiba. The familiar Placebo is centered around "TABLET", "FISHQUEST2", and "RNF-EVOLUTION", We also had other models available for test drives. The waves were thick, so the RNF-EVOLUTION's quick takeoff and ease of dolphin-through were well received. There were new LOST models, and everyone was excited, saying they wanted to ride more but didn't have enough time or stamina. The waves were big enough like this. This is a shallow beach break that has hosted WCT events in the past, so the waves are always perfect for test rides. Nishii asked the visitors what kind of board they were looking for, I gave him advice on which board to test ride. Today, many people were able to ride it to some extent, and the V2-ROCKET was popular. Mr. Kubo from our main store really liked the "SUB-DRIVER." Kanoa, who was visiting Japan and visiting the CI booth next door, said, "Wow, this is amazing! I want to ride it! Please let me ride it later." A prototype "V2-ROCKET" model with cork on the deck. The waves were weak, ranging from shin to hara, similar to the summer waves of the Sea of Japan. My first impression was, "There's a board like this in the world!" I was shocked! The takeoff was super fast! He moves so quickly!! I'm confident that he's in the top three for catching waves in the short program lineup (lol). Today, there were no shortstops on the same line!!! Even though I'm a beginner with only 2 years of experience!!! (lol) I was worried about mobility at 60kg and 5'8", but I was an idiot for worrying. Even though the rocker is loose, for some reason it doesn't pearl even when you take off like you're jumping off!!! Initially, I was thinking of using it from the knees to the thighs, but now I'm thinking of using it from the chest to the shoulders as well!!! I was able to come across this magic board thanks to Mr. Nishii, the staff at LUVSURF, and the people at Murasaki Sports! I'm truly grateful!!! Please forgive me for the overly passionate post, as this 5th round was so much fun.
