What do you think? Nishii designed the Templet (Conquest Fin), Fin shaper Kumano designed the flex and shaped the board. The highest quality, high precision fins are made using techniques that only RATIO can achieve. It will be released under the Aurora brand. It is still in the sample stage, so after production, sales are scheduled to start in January 2008. As you can see in the photo, the first release comes in two colors: zebra and striped. This was polished to a shiny polished finish, and an aurora logo was added. It will be sold not only in Japan, but also in Hawaii, California, and Australia. My theory as a fin shaper and designer is that you can't judge whether a fin is good or bad just by its shape. When I'm shaping a fin, the thing I pay the most attention to is the "thickness" of the entire fin. Of course, flex is important, but the most important point is how the water escapes through the fin. So, to get the best results to match this templet, I shaved it as thin as possible, even more than before. As a result of shaving it thin, the fin has a great flex as well.
