"BLACKSHEEP" is a character that frequently appears on Lost apparel and stickers. In English slang, black sheep means "troublemaker," referring to someone who has a slightly bad attitude in a group. It's the perfect image for Lost. A model bearing this name, which is synonymous with Lost, was released in 2011. While you might think it's a unique model, the name was actually given to an all-around player who has the performance of two boards that can be used for all-around purposes. We recommend it to those who want to ride the same familiar board without having to change boards, no matter what waves or conditions.
This short, hybrid design is the result of combining two of Mayhem's most popular and established models. It's a hybrid of two smash-hit models: a Rocket design from the center to the nose and a Sub-Scorcher design from the tail. The gentle bottom rocker curve is also a combination of the two models. The nose outline is more rounded than the Rocket to enhance speed performance, creating a shape somewhere between a rounded nose and a pointed nose. To make the board more agile and responsive, Mayhem's original "Super Swallow Tail" design is combined with a VEE bottom, ensuring easy back-foot control despite the thick, wide tail.
The VEE bottom enhances control and aids in smooth rail-to-rail movements, while the Super Swallow Tail gradually reduces excess speed while adding tail bite for hard turns. To ensure this is your magic board in any wave, the tail stance section of the deck features a "lock deck concave" on the surface where your back foot rests. This locks your back stance and prevents unnecessary wipeouts.
It's neither a rounded nor a pointed nose, but a new outline with just the right amount of roundness. It has good speed and stability in any wave, and it's great for speed. With a gentle tail rocker and a tail shape that's easy to maneuver, it's a board that can be ridden well on both thrusters and quads. (Even if the deck grip is set on the "lock deck concave", the locking function remains unchanged and there's no problem.) * Includes five FCS Glass Flex fins.
