A new PRO team rider has been born at FU WAX, who is impressed by the 3D grip performance!
December issue released on November 10th, price 1,290 yen This Surfing Life magazine has just been released. If you have seen this FU WAX advertisement page, you probably already know this, Just letting you know for those of you who haven't seen it yet. A new TEAM RIDER has been born in "FU WAX" - PRO Takumi Nakamura . I think everyone knows him because he is a famous young professional surfer representing Japan. I was born in Ise, Mie Prefecture in 1996 and am currently 17 years old. I used FU WAX purchased from Izu Shimoda's FU WAX retailer "Irie Surf", a shop run by pro Atsushi Imamura. He liked the 3D grip performance and asked to become a team rider. We have now completed the contract with his manager, PRO Yoshiaki Fukuda. He was also selected as a member of the Japanese national team for the World Junior Championships held in Brazil recently. In that WJC competition, I used FU WAX (which I had been using since before joining the team) and came in 9th place. He is a loyal user of FU WAX and understands the benefits of the product just like you all, so please support him. If you think that FU WAX's high performance is just like other waxes and have never used it, http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ Please purchase one here to try it out. Experience the amazing difference in 3D grip performance. Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreHow can you surf well when the waves are choppy or rough?
All photos by Hayato Masuda Today I took some photos at LOWERS. Nishii: With the current water temperature in San Clemente, California, FU WAX COOL is used on the top. The wetsuit is a full suit made of 3mm rubber and jersey. This is the new HAGOROMO model of the "ANCHOR" wetsuit. Today the wind was blowing from the south from the left side, making for rough waves. When the waves are rough or choppy, the rails tend to get caught. I took a firmer stance on the board than usual, and tried to hold the board down. If you make careful turns, avoiding sudden movements, you will be less likely to get caught and lose speed, allowing you to surf. The waves look good in the photo, but the surface is bumpy and difficult to ride. As I mentioned earlier, Nishii also tried his best to get the photos to look like this. Nishii and Masaki are taking a break as the wind gets stronger. However, for the second round, the wind died down and the conditions improved, allowing us to take some photos with some better waves. Recently I've been using FCSII fins. They're a lightweight, soft fin with no carbon fiber. The size is M. In Japan, we prefer S size, but in the open-faced waves of the Trestle, I use the larger M size so I can make drive turns. FCSII fins have not yet been produced in time, so there are still few in stock at surf shops in Japan. Luvsurf has a large stock of FCS II fins, so be sure to purchase these as they will become the standard in the future. You can purchase FCSII fins here. Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreA must-have! Check out the mark positioning examples for "LOST" and "MAYHEM."
You can specify this when placing a custom order. Please see the mark positioning examples for "LOST" and "MAYHEM". Up and down in the center position of the familiar stringer, The "OG" in the image below, where LOST and MAYHEM are lined up, is popular, The MAYHEM mark can be moved from its normal position to the rail side. When combined with the LOST mark, you can see that the appearance changes just by changing the position of the mark. After purchasing, please consider leaving space to attach your favorite stickers. While looking at these, what kind of LOST mark should be on the next board? Just thinking about which number to choose to match the MAYHEM mark is fun. Of course, you can place a custom order in person, but even if you live far away or are too busy with work to come to the store, you can easily place a custom order. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/custom_order.html Please see this page for the procedure and method of custom ordering. All types of LOST marks are also listed! Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreI met Fuad, also known as FU, the only person in the world who can make "FU WAX."
Today's LOWERS. This morning was sunny with no wind and good, compact waves. Today, I would like to introduce to you the son in this photo, who came all the way from Brazil to study in California. To meet Guilherme Mansur, also known as "Guy", This is his first time in 25 years in California. I met FU, also known as Fuad, the only person in the world who can make FU WAX. This person is Mr. FU, also known as Fuad, 57 years old. The brothers opened the first surf shop in Brazil, He is a very powerful figure in the Brazilian surfing industry. I heard some interesting stories about the production process and various circumstances surrounding FU WAX up to now. This time, he will be passing on the latest FU WAX production methods to his son. Apparently he made several trips by car to LA to purchase the ingredients. In Japan, FU WAX is 100% handmade and is produced in limited quantities, so we import and sell it. They aren't always in stock, and here in America, when they are put on display at surf shops, the rich buy them all up. It is currently sold out and almost unavailable in stores. If you search the web, you'll find it being sold at a premium price of $12.50, which is higher than in Japan. So, they had it in stock here until the other day, but now it's sold out even at that price. A commemorative photo of the three of us. 『Guilherme Mansur』 『Koji Nishii』 『Fuad Mansur』 At the moment, all seasons are in stock in Japan, but as before, There is a possibility that they may sell out, so please be sure to secure your FUWAX stock as soon as possible. If you are far away, you can also purchase it here. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreToday we'll be taking a look at some specially glassed boards that have been brought into the LOST surfboard warehouse.
Today we're taking a look at some specially glassed boards that have been brought into the LOST surfboard warehouse. These are not made to be ridden (although they can be ridden). Glassed by Lucky Busters for a trade show in Brazil. The board on the left is made of silver glitter glitter glass. The Lost logo has an emblem like this. Completed boards are being brought into the warehouse at the head office one after another, Among them was the noteworthy new 2014 model "V2-SB". The markings for the "V2-SB" model have been completed, so PRO boards with the logo have started to be distributed to teams. Don't miss it from here! And now, MAYHEM has further refined the design of the Japan-exclusive LOST model, which will be released as a new model for 2014! We are currently preparing for Mayhem and its release to everyone. To get to this point, we had Mayhem test and develop the design over and over again, more than ever before. Nishii is finally test riding the completed model for sale. It's a model that will satisfy any adult surfer, so please look forward to it! Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreA report from LOST Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente, California.
A report from LOST Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente, California. I went to check out the LOST surfboards that will soon be sent to Love Surf. The beautiful resin tint color "COUCH POTATO" was so popular that it sold out. It will come in a variety of colors like this! Today, Atsushi's board, which you inquired about, has been completed. I was able to confirm this. All three SUB-DRIVER-JP models have been in excellent condition so far! He had been riding it with a squash tail, but this time he wanted to try riding it with a different tail shape. I had it custom ordered with a swallow tail. The SUB-DRIVER-JP model has a wide tail, so swallowing it gives it slightly better maneuverability. Other models include the 2014 pre-sale model "LAYZ POTATO" model, The popular "BEACH BUGGY" model is the most popular high-performance model that people want to ride right now. We are also finishing up a few XTR-FX models. Also, these four used Kolohe boards will be sent to Luvsurf! The model is DRIVE/F-STUB/V2-SB. Shaw Kobayashi, a USA PRO team rider and Love Surf USA staff member, carefully packed the items. All items are scheduled to arrive in mid-November. We are looking forward to their arrival! Learn moreWe will tell you which season is best for using FU WAX, based on the current water temperature and season.
The older surfers who know the difference say that the FU has the best grip. I was told this at a surf spot where the waves had risen due to consecutive typhoons. I am very happy to be able to provide such a great product that everyone will enjoy. Nishii was surfing in a full 3mm jersey suit in the water temperature of Shonan over the weekend, The north wind is cold, but the water temperature is still high, so "WARM" is best for the current water temperature in Shonan. I also tried the "COOL" setting, but it was too early. The water temperature was still high, so it was too soft and my toes would slip when I put pressure on them. Therefore, we still recommend using "WARM" at surf spots in Shonan and warmer water temperatures. FU has the property of hardening and increasing grip when it cools down after being submerged in seawater. Hiroki, a Luvsurf AM team rider who was surfing in southern Chiba today, also said that WARM is good. I was surfing in northern Chiba, Longboarder and FU WAX user Hiroki Papa also says that "WARM" is good. And Suma Hidekazu, a FU WAX/AM rider who surfed in the Sea of Japan/Akita, They say that for water temperatures around here, "COOL" is best. (The yellow COOL color in the photo is a prototype test product.) I asked Mr. Sugiyama, a FUWAX user from Hachinohe, Aomori, about the difference between the Kanto region and the Tohoku region. He said that with the water temperature around here right now, ``COOL'' is the best setting. It has a grip that sticks to the surface without creating any unevenness, but it doesn't get sticky like other waxes! He also commented on FB. We look forward to receiving submissions from FU WAX users all over Japan. Please let me know which type is best to use now. I would like to share information with FU WAX users all over Japan. The information will be published on the web and blog, so we hope that it will be useful for FU WAX users across the country. We look forward to receiving information on usage not only in Japan but also overseas! *Surf point (area) *Types of FU WAX *thoughts Please tell us. ★Please include a photo! The address is here info@luvsurf.co.jp If you haven't tried FU yet, as Kolohe Andino says, This is a recommended surf wax that says, "No one will believe you at first, but you should try it too." Even professional athletes sponsored by other wax companies The sticker on the board is "XXXWAX". FU is better, so it's such a great product that people will say they use it. FU WAX is spreading all over the world, and is said to be the biggest revolution since the Tri-Fin. First, try out the recommended season's product for the current appropriate water temperature. FU WAX is available in stores, You can also purchase it online here! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreCheck out our booth and 2014 new products at today's LOST Clothing exhibition.
Take a look at the LOST Clothing exhibition booth and new products for 2014, which was held somewhere today. The front of the booth looks like this. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the two boards are placed on electric stands, so they spin around. This is what it looks like from the side. This is the T-shirt section. The gray one is called a surf tee and is quick-drying, antibacterial, and made specifically for surfing. It is recommended for men who are embarrassed by the tight fit of rash guards and their protruding stomachs. Please see below. These are beach sandals from LOST. I highly recommend them. Display the resin tinted board with board shorts that have been dipped in resin and dried. The booth had a bright feel to it. The collaboration between TAJI and MAYHEM is extremely famous worldwide. This is the resin washing area at the actual Lost glass factory in San Clemente. This is a display of board shorts solidified with resin. Summer beanies and new caps are lined up. We would like to introduce some items that caught Nishii's eye. MAYHEM CAP. FINE CURVE Camouflage print with fluorescent piping and pockets. Tropical print board shorts. RESIN WORKS MAYHEM CAP. It has COUCH POTATO printed on it. It comes in other colors too. DUCK DIVE This is a dolphin dive. By the way, if you say "dolphin through" to a foreigner, they won't understand. It is Japanese English. For foreigners, please call the dolphin dive a DUCK DIVE. These products will be available in stores in spring 2014, so look forward to it! Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreUser voices have arrived! Lost "LAYZ POTATO" model drowns in the sea off Tohoku!
Lost "LAYZ POTATO" model drowns in Tohoku sea! We recently received a message from user S, who purchased the currently popular "LAYZ POTATO" model through mail order, so we would like to share it with you. Hachinohe City. Temperature: 8℃ Wind: Southeast Size: Chest/Shoulders Number of people: 10 The waves were a bit choppy so I hesitated about getting in, but I decided to take my first ride on the Lost 5'8" LayzPotato that I had purchased yesterday. My weight is just under 60kg, so I have a little bit of overfloat, but I chose this board considering the balance with the other boards I own. It has buoyancy, but the Dolphin has no problem even with the junk waves that come one after another. I think you can do dolphin swimming even with your head over. Once you get the hang of it, the takeoff is incredibly fast! Once you get into a slightly dug area, you hardly need to paddle. Regarding the stance, I struggled at first to figure out where to ride, but in the end, by riding it not too far forward, I was able to gain speed and it was hard to lose speed even in sharp turns, so it was easy to do cutbacks. Also, by stepping firmly on the tail, I was able to rip. It moves more than I expected. For beginners or those who want to cruise, it has a bit of overfloat like mine (but still moves well), but if you're at or under the appropriate weight, it's a fun board that moves around and moves around a lot. Next time, I'd like to try riding it with a head-over-head reef!! MAYHEM has made another incredible board (^^) Mr. S, who chose a larger size, has some helpful comments! If you actually ride the "LAYZ POTATO" model, you'll understand that it glides over the waves very well! It will easily ride through waves that you couldn't get through before. The deep double concave makes the board float. MAYHEM, which shapes boards for many World Tour riders to help them achieve speed, This is a Japan-exclusive model designed for Japanese men to make surfing fun. The unique floating feeling of the MAYHEM shape design, the same as that of high-performance boards, is inherited. The board moves smoothly and is easy to control, so even intermediate riders (who can accelerate by upturning) can ride it with ease. Ready to ride, already in stock, Click here to find the clear version of ``POLYESTER'' and the resin tint color board! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/category/item/itemgenre/lost_board/layz-potato-polyester/?ill_sort=code&ill_order=ASC Excellent strength! The foam does not absorb water and is also extremely waterproof. XTR-FX spec boards are currently in stock in stores. It will be posted on the website soon! Which board material will you choose for your "LAYZ POTATO"? Posted by Luvsurf .
