Surfing with Dino Andeno and Michael Ho
Today I went surfing at Lower with Dino Andeno and Michael Ho. Lost Oyaji Team is a trio from Hawaii, California, and Japan. The waves were as excellent as usual. The camera is DAI. When you visit the Glass Room, We receive many custom orders from Love Surf customers. I was waiting for glass lamination. We also visited the Lost Enterprises office. The CEO, Joel, will be visiting Japan next month. I went to Mayhem to watch the Angels vs. Athletics baseball game. Since bringing alcohol is prohibited, I drank a cocktail pack in one go in front of the gate. I was surprised at the size of ANAHEIM Stadium, and it seems that 45,000 people will be attending today. Reserved seats at Mayhem allow you to see the players up close. Mayhem was born in a hospital a mile away from this stadium. Apparently he's a fan of ANGELS.

It was unusually sunny in California this morning. Mayhem showed us a new Lost licensed shaped Fiberflex board from Australia, model SD3. This board is a licensed shape, so of course it wasn't shaped by Mayhem himself, but it has a carbon fiber frame and is said to be very good for high performance surfing. It seems to be popular with team riders too. Speaking of which, the recent Lost ads have been showing a lot of riders riding this Fiberflex. Mayhem tested this Fiberflex board himself, so if you take advantage of the carbon fiber frame structure and shape it, it will be even better. He said he could design and shape a good fiber flex board. Mayhem says that his current favorites are the ROCKET and the Fiberflex SD3. The lower trestle is larger than yesterday. It breaks nicely to right and left. Hop on your bike and head to Mayhem and Trastle. When we started talking about surfboards, Mayhem got so excited that we couldn't stop talking. It becomes difficult to get into the sea. At that moment, a local man appeared with a Shark XTR. Today I rode a Shark with tri-fins. The setting is a combination of AUROLA 5.1 in the front and 4.7 in the center. DAI has recorded his riding, so we will release the riding video at a later date.

Tatsu, the representative of the San Clemente branch of the Luvsurf team, invited me to go surfing in the morning. I checked the size and direction of the swell in advance using the internet. Check out the NSSA contest taking place at LOWERS. The waves were perfect, breaking left and right. There was a contest going on at the lower reaches, so we decided to surf at the upper reaches. The waves are good here too, so we go in and out repeatedly. While taking photos of the fins, photographer DAI surfed at the beach break right in front of us. Test ride the Shark. We spent the evening on the beach after dark and warmed up in the jacuzzi. The scar above DAI's eye was caused when he got drunk, lost his balance, and hit a desk. This is AUROLA's new model, the 4.7 Microfiber Flex Fin. Of course, both FCS and FUTUER are available. The photos in my blog the other day were hard to see, so I took them again. This fin is slightly larger than the "4.5" in order to reduce weight. The base of FUTURE has been hollowed out like this. This is the side fin. This is the end fin. Look at the intricate carving. Went to surf with Mayhem this morning. This is my recently completed personal board of my favorite Mayhem items. This is a Shark 5-fin XTR PB DD. The airbrushing is beautiful. This is also my favorite RNF-Q. The airbrushing is very Mayhem-like. I took out my recently completed ROCKET XTR and I surfed at Cottons, the point in front of Mayhem House. The waves weren't great so we quickly walked to the upper trestle. When you come out of the water, you can relax and chat with local men about boards. Apparently ROCKET is incredibly popular in the US. Indeed, there were quite a lot of people riding ROCKETs in the ocean. A message from Mayhem to our customers in Japan. The popular ROCKET is now available with both XTR center stringer and parabolic. They said they are waiting for your order. Those who were good at riding this ROCKET XTR 5 fin model were: He is the president of US FCS. Of course, the XTR uses FUSION plugs. When he saw the AUROLA fins on my board, he said they were beautiful. I was so happy. I went to Lost's new board warehouse. This is the Posca paint container in the painter's room. This Cyber Super Flex Jersey from Seagal is perfect for California this season. In California, it was worn by Sheeropes and Schoenbeschen. So when I wear Cyber, people always start talking to me and saying how nice the suit is. All black 3x2 superflex jersey with silver markings and silver stitching. Today I tried adding TINER fins to the back fins. There is a big difference between having this and not having it. You can surf well while still retaining the loose feel of a quad. Morning surf at Upper Trestles. The waves are small but high quality. Cyber's 3mm full suit *Flex jersey material is, as the name suggests, It's soft and stretches well, so it makes surfing very easy and improves your movement. 5'8" XTR PB DD Shark in great condition. Today I wanted to improve my turns so I went with five fins. In the afternoon, we went to Mayhem's shaping room. I had previously ordered I found my blanks, which had been machine cut using COMP-4 XTR PB. I asked Mayhem to shape it right in front of me. Daisuke takes a commemorative photo with Chicken Willy. The Surf Blanks truck was parked in front of the factory. About 100 forms were being transported into the warehouse. In the airbrush room, we have a custom-made board from Japan, Conquest EPS Isamu's board. Airbrush artist Terry Singh was at work. I bumped into Mason in the parking lot. Apparently he's coming to Japan for the WQS Iraggo Contest. In the evening, I went to a NIKE team party. This is the Nike team car. People from the San Clemente surf industry, including Mayhem, were there. Monica is the poster girl for the Nike team. He's cute and also very good at surfing. The guitarist (left) of the rock band SHUYS and his father. Terry is the owner of the beachfront mansion where the party is being held. Mayhem plays Ping Pong with his wife Carrie. Nicole (Mayhem's Shop Manager), Monica and Mike Leora (Lost Clothing) This kid is also on the NIKE team. (I forgot his name.) I drank too many margaritas so I was late updating my blog yesterday. Nishii arrived safely in San Clemente. This was the first time for DAI, the photographer accompanying us, to visit California, so we made our way to San Clemente, stopping at various places along the way. It takes about an hour and a half to get there directly from Los Angeles Airport. From around 6am we went for a little surfing at a beach break called Riviera to prevent jet lag. The waves were waist-high and chest-high, but I surfed for about two hours. We also test rode AUROLA's new 4.7FIN. This fin is one size larger than the 4.5 and is designed for drive surfing. To further reduce weight, the base has been intricately cut out as shown in the photo without compromising strength. Nishii's new Shark is equipped with a 5.1QUAD set. After surfing for a while, about six extremely skilled child surfers came in. The player is incredibly skilled, easily worthy of winning the JPSA, but it's unclear who he is. When we emerged from the water, we saw the QS team's car. I see, they were the next generation of young guns. The NSSA contest is held at Lower Trestle, so the top amateurs from all over the United States It seems they are gathering together. So, look forward to tomorrow's blog.

Filming for the DVD Present Day Ride IN BALI has been completed. This is a photo of the BBQ party held at Dorian's house on the last night of the shoot to celebrate the shoot. On the final day, the filming team gathered at 5am. We arrived at Klamath, but after the storm the wind direction was bad, it was bumpy and the swell was too big. We decided to move further in search of waves to continue filming. There was a parking lot closer to Klamath Break than when I came last year. This is the entrance to the parking lot at Klamath. The Balinese legend, Jodie, is also visiting for the first time. We were taken to a secret spot where we found a great point break. The swell hits the cape, it's also an estuary, and the bottom is boulders, making it an ideal location. A light machine break like you'd experience on a boat trip! Photographer DAI immediately started shooting! Hiroki was also very happy with the waves! DAI surfed after everyone else had finished surfing. I was attacked by a sea urchin. This time too, we were blessed with just the right waves for filming, and now that we've completed filming, we're heading back to Japan.
