PLACEBO 『DURA-FLEX』 SURFBOARD COMPOSITES
Duraflex is a new eco-friendly technology from PLACEBO. The core of this new composite surfboard is made of high-quality EPS foam called "AERO-BLANK," which provides the durability and colorfast finish that the PLACEBO brand is known for.
After custom shaping the "AERO-BLANK" EPS foam, three layers of 4+4+6oz are applied to the deck surface, and two layers of 4+6oz cloth are hand-glazed with epoxy resin to the bottom surface.
Built-in half-inch carbon stringers run straight from nose to tail on both sides of the board, eliminating twisting and providing a solid ride.
The UV-cut white paint on the surface is a long-lasting eco-finish that provides semi-permanent protection from sun damage. The elegant black and white body is equipped with PLACEBO's unique supple and easy-to-glue flex performance.
