The GLYDRA is a model born from an idea of our partner surf shop in New Jersey, where the waves are usually small.
This model is between the ``SMOOTH OPERATOR'' and ``HYDRA'', and is a mid-length FISH board that is very fast to paddle and take off.
If you've watched professional player Arashi Murata's YouTube channel, you've probably noticed the impressive performance.
The GLYDRA, created by MAYHEM, is not just a surfboard with a fast takeoff that has been shortened to a mid-length version of another brand's longboard.
It paddles and trims like a long, slender glider, and turns easily, making it easy to make full rail cutbacks even in weak waves.
The GLYDRA was designed for small, low-power conditions, but the fact that Mayhem himself enjoyed riding it in the Mentawai region of Indonesia is proof of the model's great potential.
The GLYDRA has a 5-fin plug, and can be configured in a variety of ways, including tri, quad, and 2+1, depending on the rider's preferences and wave conditions, so you can enjoy it in a variety of patterns.

「イアン・クレーン」のビーチヘッドから新しいYouTubeが公開になったのでご紹介します。
このYouTubeで注目したいのは「イアン・クレーン」が「ラスタ・ロブ」と一緒に2人で『LIGHT SPEED2』に乗っています。
2人ともスタブハイでの優勝経験があるエアがとてもうまいサーファーなのですが、
ビーチブレイクの程良いサイズのパワーのある波でLIGHT SPEED2』に乗っているところです。
日本だとこれぐらいのサイズは波が大きい方になると思いますが、これぐらいのサイズや力のある波でも『LIGHT SPEED2』は機能しています。
「イアン」が乗っているのはカラーペイントしてあるのでわかりづらいのですが『SUB DRIVER3.0』モデルのスワローテイルの『LIGHT SPEED2』です。
