■Model explanation
The SHONAN WARRIOR is a new model that succeeds the BEAN BAG and LAYZ POTATO, which have improved paddle performance compared to the SUPER-DAIBLO.
The concept is that surfers over 40 can ride the small waves of crowded weekends like those in Shonan at speeds that rival pros and kids, while still being able to move around as lightly and freely as on a performance board.
This model, a must-have for those who frequent small beach breaks, is a confident creation that was started by world-class top shaper LOST Mayhem himself, who wanted to design it for us Japanese guys.
The bottom of the board features a special design called "Double concave bevel bottom" that was developed and designed by MAYHEM specifically for this model.
This ultimate shape design has a lift effect that keeps the board afloat even in small waves or at slow speeds, allowing the board to be easily swung left and right, up and down, in all directions, even on the face of small waves.
While inheriting the speed and ease of paddling and take-off from the SUPER-DAIBLO, this model surpasses the previous model in terms of performance, improving the maneuverability of the BEAN BAG and inheriting the driving performance of the LAYZPOTATO. Mayhem themselves have been developing and testing this model with a shape design that they hope will be ridden by Japanese users.
