Four-town team competition based on age
This video was taken at the end of April 2023 at the Boardriders Club WCBR Regional Qualifiers held on 54th Street in Newport Beach.
This is a surfing contest in which teams from four cities - San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and Newport Beach - compete for the highest overall score.
The contest involves four surfers selected from each decade, ranging from 10 to 50 years old, surfing for an hour and competing for the highest total score. The contest includes famous surfers from the past, such as Matt Archibald, Chris Ward, Jeff Booth, and Pat O'Connell, in their 40s and 50s.They are all bald and have big bellies, but we hope you will come and see them in their current form, still surfing well and in good health.
More than half of the players from the four cities were riding LOST!

このYouTubeで注目したいのは「イアン・クレーン」が「ラスタ・ロブ」と一緒に2人で『LIGHT SPEED2』に乗っています。
2人ともスタブハイでの優勝経験があるエアがとてもうまいサーファーなのですが、
ビーチブレイクの程良いサイズのパワーのある波でLIGHT SPEED2』に乗っているところです。
日本だとこれぐらいのサイズは波が大きい方になると思いますが、これぐらいのサイズや力のある波でも『LIGHT SPEED2』は機能しています。
「イアン」が乗っているのはカラーペイントしてあるのでわかりづらいのですが『SUB DRIVER3.0』モデルのスワローテイルの『LIGHT SPEED2』です。
