A used LOST "CALIFORNIA TWIN" DOUBLE DART board, an all-carbon board equipped with premium technology, has arrived!
LOST's DOUBLE DART utilizes a trademarked surfboard technology developed by Florida-based epoxy composites pioneer Drew Bagget.
The DOUBLE DART is made from a unique carbon and S-glass hybrid, with two vacuum-glassed carbon fiber shells encasing the 1.5 oz. high-density EPS core, separated into upper and lower sections at the rail edges of the board.
In order to ensure that the DOUBLE DART is neither too rigid nor too stiff, the rail wrap where the upper and lower parts overlap has been adjusted to be as short as possible.
Only a 4oz fiberglass cover layer completely encases the wrap and rails.
This subtle rail wrap helps the DOUBLE DART board bend and twist freely.
BLACK DART's unique carbon fiber runs in one direction (nose to tail), while S-glass fiber runs horizontally from rail to rail.
Unlike heavy-duty two-way carbon weave, this material is very flexible, not stiff, and not easily broken.
