Today I tested the back fins for the new AUROLA 4.2 QUAD.
The front is AUROLA 5.1.
The fins we tested this time are larger versions of the back fins for the QUAD that have been on the market for some time.
This release is aimed at those who want more drive and want to ride big waves on the same quad board.
It is larger than the AUROLA 5.1 back fin, so it holds turns better and provides more drive, making it suitable for deep, large waves.
The waves we tested were a clean beach break with shoulder-high waves and overhead tubes, and an onshore break with choppy waves and thick waves at high tide.
My turns were extended and I picked up speed, and I was able to ride through the waves faster than anyone else who was surfing at the same spot!
The fin performance was as expected and as per the concept!

Clear and smoke black for FCS,
Clear and smoke black are now available for the Future center box.
The price is ￥8,800 (excluding tax) for a set of two.
We also have a QUAD set of 4 with 5.1 front fins and 4.2 back fins!
For FCS, there are two colors available: clear set and smoke black set.
For Future (for center box), there are two colors available: clear set and smoke black set.
The price for a set of four is 16,800 yen (excluding tax).
