Won the WQS contest on a QUAD board!

Finally, or rather, at last, the winner of the contest has been revealed in QUAD! What's more, it was a WQS event held in Trestles, California. CJ Hobgood won the race using this trendy high-performance QUAD. Check out the videos and photos here! http://www.surfingthemag.com/events/surfbout/07/video.htm Demand for quad boards in Japan is still in its infancy, but in California, where the sport originates, demand is shifting from the neo-quad boom, which features four fins on a fish-style board template, to high-performance quads. Speaking of Lost, it's the SD4 model! Presebo's Gorkin was also in the contest. According to information from the local area, there were many other riders competing in heats using QUADs. Tri-fins are good, but QUADs have different advantages than tri-fins. QUADs with performance that can be used in competitions will likely be released one after another in the future. Kelly seems to be testing the QUAD quite a bit, so I think he might use it in the WCT soon. I expect so. I heard this story from someone who asked the owner of a surf shop they usually go to what QUAD was like, and was disappointed when he said, "I don't know because I've never ridden one yet." This means QUAD boards won't become popular. Apparently, new models from manufacturers that the shop carries aren't even available in stores. I feel a bit sorry for the club members. I hope you all try riding a QUAD board soon! Nishii highly recommends QUAD!
