Nishii Personal received his new board and wetsuit today!!
The board is a LOST SD3 model Parabolic Stringer Dual Density.
The size is 5'10" x 18" x 2 1/16". For some reason, it has a double wing squash tail.
UL-ON fins. I'm thinking about painting them now...
The wetsuits are produced by sponsor AEROquip, and come in three colors: Seagull, Long Sleeve Spring, and Half Sleeve Spring.
These are all 2mm back zipperless,
We will now be testing the durability and heat retention of the prototype for next season.
It is made of Airdia, a lightweight, rubber and jersey material that provides excellent heat retention.
We have already seen good results with a 2mm full suit made from the same type of fabric.
We are considering commercializing this product. We will test it with spring/summer wetsuits to see if it is too hot.
It's probably thin and warm, so if it can just meet the durability requirements, it will be commercialized.
It looks like it will be a model that is easy to move in and has excellent heat retention, so please look forward to it.
