Lost Surfboards evolved rapidly in the late 90s with the collaboration of Shane Beschen. Shane is a surfer with excellent surfboard knowledge who has traveled the world testing boards from various shapers in all kinds of waves. Now focusing on free surfing, this is the latest model developed by him and Mayhem.
The outline is a straight outline with a moderate rocker and little curve in the middle. The rails are soft and rounded up to the center of the board, with a sharp edge. The tail kick is a little strong, allowing for quick snap.
The distinctive bump wing squash tail starts just before the side fins, and this slight bump wing balances out the straight outline in the middle, allowing for fast, driving bottom turns. Mayhem recommends sizing it slightly narrower than your standard shortboard, about 1/8" (0.3cm).
Fins can be selected from FUTURE FINS, FCS, and lightweight glass-on fins.
