Nishii and Shane are in Chiba for an ASP/WQS event.
The waves on the first day were big and impressive.
"Schönbeschen" preparing for morning practice before the event begins
During my morning adjustments, I was able to get the tube and air in perfectly and I was feeling great.
However, Shane came to Japan without entering the competition.
This entry is on a waiting list for cancellations.
If any athlete does not come to receive their bib number 5 minutes before each heat,
It's an alternate event, meaning you can enter that heat.
I don't know when I'll be able to leave, so I'm always waiting.
I waited until around noon and was so bored,

Surfing on the Sidatla side,

While captivating the gallery,
Masashi Suzuki, a team rider for LOST Hamamatsu G-SLASH,
Looks like he'll be in the next heat.
Amazingly, Shane was suddenly able to enter the heat.
Two lost teams competing in the same heat.
Afterwards, it's lunch time, and Shane's favorite dish is tempura soba noodles.
In the afternoon we went to Hebara for a free session.
What Shane is looking at
Nishii's magic is stealth.
"Shane" is Nishii's Placebo ROCKET 5'5"!
I thought it might not have enough buoyancy, but I was able to ride it without any problems.
Apparently it was his first time riding a ROCKET made of FLEXLITE material, and he was full of praise!
The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 on September 25th.
The race will start from the fifth heat of the Round of 96.
Former ASP Men's World Tour surfer,
He was also the WCT event champion at Torami Beach in 1996.
"Schoenbeschen" (United States)
He will be appearing in the 18th heat of the Round of 96!
