I heard he was judging so I went to check it out.
There is a train station at the pier. Here is the station and a ticket vending machine.

WSA contest trophy
It's a boys and girls contest that only those under 16 can participate in.
There are microgrom classes where parents accompany their children and push the board.
It's a surf contest that the whole family can enjoy.
The event was held at two points, using both the north and south sides of the pier.
