The V2-ROCKET is a model designed for smaller waves, but it has a straighter outline than the ROCKET model and more drive, so it is designed to be able to ride well on the waves that are common in Japan, even if they are a little bigger. The rails are also rounded, giving the board excellent rebound, so the board bounces back with a lip action. This Chris Ward backside lip really brings out the board's characteristics. And in this way, Ward takes advantage of the board's bouncy properties to land airs that soar like rockets. Nishii filmed everything, but Chris Ward flew higher than expected, so this second ride is out of frame.
