Chucky said that recently he had gained weight and his SUB-DRIVER model was no longer buoyant enough.
I test rode this SUB-DRIVER-JP for a photo shoot and fell in love with it after just one round.
It's wide and has buoyancy in the center, so it takes off quickly, and the rails are thin so it doesn't move easily!
So I said I wanted this board! But Chris Ward hadn't ridden it yet.
I refused, saying that I would bring it back to Japan and use it at a test drive event.
So Chucky ordered the same size as this 5'10" from Mayhem.
Actually, it's a Japan-only model, so it can't be purchased in the USA, but I gave them special permission.
This is a model that I would recommend to passionate older surfers in their 30s and 40s who want to rip with a tri-fin squash tail like they did when they were younger.
This is the most buoyant of LOST's squash tail performance models, so it's a model that we can safely recommend to anyone who wants to ride a SUB-DRIVER model but feels that it doesn't have enough buoyancy!
