Today, Julian won his first ASP World Tour event in Portugal!
In the final heat, he once again made a comeback with his last ride, just before the time limit, which is his specialty.
He took off and went deep into the tube, then pulled out beautifully, finishing with two consecutive rail turns that his opponent Gabu-chan couldn't do, resulting in a stunning comeback victory. Gabu-chan was in tears of frustration, but he's only 18 and still a kid, so it's understandable that he lost like that.
