Skateboarding on waves... This is a category we're introducing for the first time in the world. Surfskates allow you to perform skateboard-style tricks and rail surf the wave. The low rocker gives the board instant acceleration upon takeoff, giving it the speed to easily execute tricks. The symmetrical nose and tail provide increased control when landing nose-first in reverse, increasing the potential for fakie, reverse, and subsequent tricks. The extremely short length allows for tight, vertical turns and the ability to turn hard, even in small waves. The deep concave between the fins evacuates water from the tail after a trick, providing speed and stability. The rail concave carved into the deck not only makes grabs easier, but also allows for more reliable flip tricks. It's also capable of performing tricks in small, shallow waves, transforming knee-to-waist wave sessions into a blast of fun. Designed by Rick Rock with input and feedback from development rider Josh Slay, Mayhem has updated the FLEXLTE-TURBO version to create the ultimate surfboard/skateboard. Josh has already landed countless skate tricks on this board in the waves.
