Today I met up with photographer Masuda and we shot on the 5'2" COUCH POTATO.
The waves on T-STREET were small, but they seemed to be slightly bigger than yesterday.
The same is true around Trestles.
So, it's the same Oceanside Harbor Point as yesterday.
Joel Tudor was there too, so it seems my choice of spot was correct.
The water temperature has been cold recently, so I've been wearing robes, something I rarely do around here even in the middle of winter.
The peak is about this size, but it gets smaller and smaller all the way to the inside.
The thick waves of this shallow beach break are very similar to those at Sakuta or Katakai in Japan.

Today, you'll be amazed at how fast it can take off despite being only 5'2".
We had a video taken of the take-off performance and the ability to continue running even in rough waves.
