This is a prototype board currently in development, shaped by Mayhem for testing purposes.
With a semi-rounded nose and squashed tail outline, this board has thin rails.
The rail shape feels one size thinner from nose to tail.

The base is the US version of the LAYZYBOY, which can ride larger waves than the COUCH POTATO.
This is the bigger brother board of CP that offers more driving than the COUCH POTATO.

At 5'5" and 26.5cl, it can be said to be an adult board with buoyancy similar to the COUCH POTATO.

Completely different from the CP, this board has rocker similar to the SUB-SCOCHER and SUB-DRIVER.

The nose rocker also prevents pearling when taking off from a pocket of a large wave like this.
It's designed to be thin, although it's hard to tell from the photo.

Of course, I also applied
FUWAX BASE to this, and it looked like this.

Create a fine, even base coat layer,

Apply
FU WAX WARM and finish by applying it until it forms threads like this, being careful not to apply too much.

I set up
the AUROLA CHARGER fins as a tri-fin set.
Certainly, the turn is extended normally like a slightly shorter SUB type shortboard,
Although it's not quite as good as the COUCH POTATO, it retains its paddle performance and is easy and fast to take off.
I wanted to adjust the size and make it a little narrower to improve mobility.
For a width of 20", 5'5" seems like a good length, but it might be better to narrow the width and make it another inch longer.
Nishii's high performance regular boards are 5'10~5'9",
SUB series: 5'7" to 5'8"
RNF type: 5'4"
COUCH PTATO is 5'2".
QUAD seems fine too, so I'll continue testing.
