Hurley Pro 2013 has started.
We would like to introduce the riders who rode MAYHEM boards on the first day.

Taj Burrow, who took first place in Round 1, rode the WHIPLASH-TB model equipped with an FCSII plug.
Jump up to round 3.

Kolohe placed second in Round 1, so he will face Matt Wilkinson in H12 tomorrow for Round 2.

Nate Iyomans placed third in Round 1 and faced Josh Kerr in Round 2.
I lost and it ended here.

Ian Crane, who was in the same heat as Kolohe, came in third.
In Round 2, he fought well against World Champion Joel Parkinson in H2 but was defeated.

Brad Simpson competed against Kelly Slater and Dane Reynolds.
He took first place and advanced to Round 3!
Shinpo dominated the conversation that day! He beat two strong competitors and it was a fascinating heat to watch.

Adam Melling also won Round 1 on the Mayhem Board and moved on to Round 3!
He seemed to be in pretty good shape.

The winner of the 2013 US Open, Alejo Moniz, was second in Round 1,
I'll be playing John John Florence in round 2 tomorrow.

This is a battle between FU WAX users that you won't want to miss.
There's another person, Damien Hobgood, who I don't have a photo of, but he was also on the LOST Mayhem board.
I came in second in round 1, so tomorrow I'll be playing Bede Durbidge in round 2.
They ask shapers from all over the world to make boards for them, and 8 out of 36 WCT competitors ride LOST Mayhem boards.
You can see from the number of people riding it that it is one of the world's top competitive boards.
I often hear this from WCT riders, but the distinctive feature of the Mayhem board design is that it is different from other boards.
It's a board that runs well, has speed, floats, and moves lightly.
The waves are forecast to be smaller tomorrow, so it may be a lay day.
