Taji's performance improved with each round, and he rode in every heat.
Before the contest, he abstained from alcohol for about three weeks, and while surfing with MAYHEM, he got 18 boards.
"BEACH BUGGY" was created while we were working on it.
The "BEACH BUGGY" model is a rough wave board from Mayhem, which became famous overnight when Taj Burrow won the WCT.
Like in this video, the board floats well even on rough waves, and yet still allows for the fast, sharp movements that competitors demand.
This is one of Mayhem's new masterpiece board models.
