He won the ASP 4 Star HIC Pro at Sunset Beach, held in his hometown of Sunset Beach.
In the big waves of sunset, always keep the local traditional wave waiting position,
Power turns and top snaps on gunboards,
He mixed in some barrel riding, showing his thorough knowledge of the waves, and came from behind to win the final heat.
This victory will give him the right to participate in the upcoming Triple Crown event,
This was a big win as he earned 1,000 points to join the WCT in 2014.
I'm sure Michael's dad is just as happy as he is.
I can't wait to see the winner's party!
