P1050153 Check out the inside of the LOST surfboards dedicated glass shop in San Clemente. P1050158 This is a BEACHBUGGY model that has been flooded with custom orders since TAJI won the ASP Championship. We have prepared marks and crosses for the glass to be used. P1050159
The board that veteran surfer Chad is glassing is the "SUB-SCORCHER2" model. This model was just released in the spring of 2013 and is great for small waves and offers high performance. With its double wing super swallow tail, flat rocker, and a sharply curved nose, this is a cool model that makes you want to go surfing just by looking at it.

This is the "STEALHII" model, custom-ordered from Japan.
The FCSII fins have also been installed and are now being cured. Once the resin has hardened, we will begin sanding.

Logos for LOST, MAYHEM, and each model are stored on this wall and in the drawers to the right of the photo, and the laminator cuts out the necessary logos from here for use.

This resin for polyester boards comes in large drums. The amount needed for one glass is poured into a large white cup, and the hardener and resin are quickly mixed by hand to create the glass. The amount of hardener and resin is adjusted by the craftsman to suit the amount of board ordered, as well as the temperature and humidity.

The RNF-CLASSIC has been a staple product of LOST for nearly 20 years.
Using FCS II on such a classic board is a cutting edge and great idea.

Here we are drilling holes to attach the fin cups before glazing.
This is a task that requires precision, as holes are drilled into the form and no mistakes are allowed.

The glass shop owned by MAYHEM is officially recognized by the city of San Clemente and is the only surf and glass shop in California to have a surf shop and a glass shop next to each other, a feat that would no longer be permitted. It has a 40-year history.
