At the LOST surfboard factory, Mayhem's brother Jason operates the AKU machine.
The person in Mayhem's shaping room was Dino, who was helping Kolohe finish his boards. I wondered if he worked in a factory or something.

It's an EPS 5'10" SUB-DRIVER.

I provided feedback on the design of the "SHORT ROUND" model.

SHAW's "SHORT ROUND" and Nishii's "SHORT ROUND" have slightly different rail shapes,

The depth, length and position of the concave are different.

Mayhem explained to me that if you look closely, you can see that the shape of the tail is different.
Give feedback and

Mayhem mixed the best parts of the two boards and updated the design immediately.

I also went to the XTR factory.

The popular "COUCH POTATO" model XTR-FX, which was custom ordered by a Japanese customer, was being sanded. It's nearing completion.

This is also a custom-ordered XTR-FX board from TAKAYOSHI.
This is the stage where the FCSII fins are installed.

This is the San Clemente area, with small waves everywhere. The ocean is empty.

Mayhem asked me if I had tried Nishii's "SHORT ROUND" with a tri-fin, and since I hadn't tried it yet, I was surprised! It also worked really well, and it moved more like a high-performance tri-fin board than a quad or five-fin, which is a given, and it felt amazing!
"SHORT ROUND" is also recommended for TRI fin settings if you are participating in a tournament!
