This is a comparative explanation of the rail and deck shapes of all 8 Placebo 2014 models.
To compare, please look at the photos of the parallel machine placed in the center of each model.
Please see the explanation as well.

The "LAYZ ORCA" has the flattest deck shape design.
It is designed specifically for small waves from knee to chest height, and the thickness in the center allows for extremely fast takeoff.

The second one, which may come as a surprise, is "TITAN."
Although it is a performance model, it inherits the deck design of the base design SUB-DRIVER,
The paddles move more easily than typical performance models.

The third is the V3-ROCKET, which also inherits the semi-flat deck design from the traditional ROCKET series.
There is particularly a lot of volume in the front (nose) so you can take off while putting weight on the front.

The fourth is the "FISHQUEST II" model.
It was developed and designed as a small wave second board for the TABLET II model, and has a thick center.
However, as you can see, the rails are surprisingly thin.

The fifth is the "NEW RIPQUEST" model.
It is designed so that you can practice lip action repeatedly without strain. The center part is
Although it is thick, the rail section is surprisingly thin and rounded towards the rail to improve maneuverability.

The sixth model is, what a surprise! The TABLET II model.
As you know, the paddle takes off quickly and moves lightly. A board with a thick center value moves lightly.
The rails are thin and rounded so that they don't become too thick, allowing for easy movement.
This is because the rails are surprisingly thin compared to the center.

The seventh one is "ISLANDER."
Based on the design of LOST's "F1-STUB," this model was redesigned by Mayhem for larger waves.
It has a narrower width than other models, but the distance to the tip of the rail is short and it thins rapidly from the thickest part in the center.

The eighth and thinnest model is the RNF-EVOLUTION.
This is a redesigned version of the RNF model for the Japanese market. In order to improve take-off and paddle speed performance,
The dome-shaped deck design allows for thinner rails to avoid compromising maneuverability as the maximum width of the board has been increased.
The QUEST series, which is sold exclusively in Japan, includes the TABLET II, FISHQUEST II, and NEW RIPQUEST.
Although there is thickness in the center, the rail shape is thinner than the center value.
I hope you can see that each model has a logical rail and deck shape based on the concept.
