I was asked about board size. I have gained weight due to aging.
He wanted a board with enough buoyancy to do rips and ride it in the right size, so he chose one size smaller.
He was considering the 5'8" size, but the 5'9" size, which has ample buoyancy and is expected to provide better maneuverability, was pre-ordered in advance of arrival.
