Carissa's "Magic Board" from the ASP WORLDTOUR.COM article

CCM001 Carissa's Magic Board
From an article on ASPWORLDTOUR.COM
Carissa Moore won at Bells Beach aboard Sub-Scocher II.
...Here are the details of the board that Lost founder and shaper Matt "Mayhem" Biolos created for her:
Carissa Moore once again defeated Taylor Wright to win the Rip Curl Women's Pro at Bells Beach.
Moore solidified Team Hawaii's lead on the ASP World Cup Tour following last week's victory over Stephanie Gilmore's Australian team, who advance to the Rio Women's Pro.
As always, quality surfboards, superior craftsmanship, and a positive relationship with a respected board maker are key factors in top surfers' competitions. Carissa Moore's relationship with San Clemente-based Matt "Mayhem" Biolos began in 2009 and has been met with phenomenal results.
Eleven elite WCT surfers have won on Mayhem boards, two ASP Women's World Titles, and countless regional and honors accolades.

"My backup board (in case it breaks or breaks) is the 5'11" that I used to win in Margaret River last week. Today the waves were a little smaller and clearer so I went for the slightly chunkier 5'9". I'm really honored to be working with someone like Matt (Biolos). He always builds me great boards," said Carissa.
"The SUB-SCORCHER II is designed to ride clean waves as well as messy, choppy ones. We've slightly widened the board and lengthened the tail from the 5'8" x 18.63" dimensions that she's used to win so many times. The idea is to reduce the surface area in the nose and tail, making it easier to control speed and push in big waves.

It also functions as a gliding board with gentle rocker for big, soft waves.
It works like a charm," says Matt "Mayhem" Biolos.
Biolos' success was also evident at the recent Rip Curl Women's Pro Bells Beach, where Taylor Wright came in second... She also uses the Mayhem Sub-Driver spec... which makes her even more appreciated.

"I'm so proud of both of these skaters. They both showed amazing surfing and incredible sportsmanship. Thank you for an amazing show. I'm honored to be working with them to push the boundaries of board performance at the highest level in the world," said Matt "Mayhem" Biolos (Instagram: @mayhemb3_mattbiolos).
The next event on the 2014 Samsung Galaxy ASP Women's World Champion Tour is: The Rio Women's Pro in Brazil will be held from May 7th to 18th. (It just took place, and Mayhem was even featured on the live broadcast from Brazil!)
