"I bought a new board, but I'd like to know where to attach the deck grip."
We have received a series of inquiries from people who have purchased new boards,
We will explain Nishii's recommended application method and placement with photos on our blog.

Nishii recommends sticking it as close to the tail as possible.

In this way, by attaching it as close to the leash cup as possible, you can place your back foot on the tail end, which will allow you to make better use of the board's maneuverability.
Here are some examples:

Some boards have tail shapes and leash cup depths that are designed to fit the board's structure.
The position of the leash cup is somehow different from normal.
There are boards that are nose (top) leaning.

Recently, the NEW RIPQUEST model has been included.
The deck grip has a large kick section,

Cut the kick part with a cutter like this,
If you make the leash cup protrude, you can attach it closer to the back of the tail, so please try it.

Another recommendation from Nishii is to apply the deck grip with a gap between the pieces.
The gap provides a better grip.

The three-piece and five-piece structures are designed for this purpose.

I would like to stick it on so that it won't peel off easily, but to improve the grip,
Please remember that it is recommended to leave a gap between the stickers.

Deciding what kind of grips to put on a new board, and thinking about which stickers to put on and where to put them,
It's really fun to watch the process of making a board that suits you.
