This is a compilation of Masato's riding on the pink Sav Scorcher 2 model, which he calls his magic board, while he was away from Japan and concentrating on surfing in California during the spring season of 2014.
This SUB-SCORCHER2 model features a squash tail design for high-performance competitions. However, the SUB-SCORCHER2 form makes it easy to catch waves, and you can see that it is possible to achieve high-performance surfing like Masato.
Masato's surfing is cool and eye-catching with his flashy frontside air reverse.
The body form and arm movements of the backside bottom turn, which is a favorite of experts, are a good example.

You keep your hips low, hold the board with a low center of gravity, turn, twist your body, and hold your arms down at the bottom, then raise them up as you head towards the lip to lead the movement of the board. If you can repeat these movements rhythmically in time with the waves, you'll be able to surf cool!
