"SHORT ROUND II"
Following its stunning debut in 2014, rider Shaw Kobayashi has already been working with MAYHEM to develop a new version. Shaw's impressive riding at an Oakley competition in the US led to a flurry of inquiries from across the US asking, "What's that model?" Now that it's gone from being a Japan-exclusive model to a global model, Shaw will be releasing a new, updated version in the Japanese market in 2015, ahead of the rest of the world.

The board is wider and thicker than the previous model's stock size, making it easier to ride.
This is a competition-ready model that brings the shape a little closer to a standard shortboard and improves performance, allowing you to aim for high scores.
The SHORT ROUND II model's short length allows for quick, tight turns in succession. After takeoff, the board and rider become one and surf a unique line across the wave, without having to change stance.

The center thickness has been increased slightly compared to the previous model to ensure a high CL value, preventing the board from sinking easily even in weak, small waves. This allows you to gain more speed and make tighter turns.

The increased width improves straight-line stability, but the single wing prevents the wider body from becoming sluggish.
This additional design ensures maneuverability when entering each turn. This model is sensitive and delivers loose, quick movements that directly communicate the rider's intentions when kicking off from a back stance or controlling the rails.

The model mark features a bullet, evoking the image of this model's fast performance, just like a bullet.
It comes with the name mark of the development rider, Shaw Kobayashi.

The small turning radius allows for quick lip action even in small waves.
You can increase this to five times.
The "SHORT ROUND II" model is designed with the concepts of "speed," "power," and "quickness."
We recommend choosing a ride that is shorter than the one you have ever ridden before.
Experience the speed, maneuverability and agility in small waves that make the board feel shorter.
