It's been a while since I rode Mayhem's masterpiece, the RNF-EVOLUTION model.
This morning I went to UPPERS to take some surf photos.
The conditions were unusually flat for California.
The biggest set of knee-high waves that sometimes comes is this waist-sized,
Nishii rode the waves according to the conditions for the first time in a while.

The round nose allows for a front-loaded takeoff paddle, allowing for quick lifting from swells.
The turns were driven and I gained speed and was able to surf a big, clean line.
Even with waves this high, about ankle to knee-high, the speed just keeps increasing.
We were able to capture footage that shows how well suited it is for small waves.
I returned to the Luvsurf USA office and immediately checked the footage.
The ability to drive in knee-high waves is truly a masterpiece.
