This photo was taken in Chiba yesterday. Hiroki is riding the new 6'6" LOST model!
This is a photo from yesterday in Chiba.
The board is a whopping 6'6" long! But what's unique about this model is that it doesn't look long!
Just hearing the name 6'6" makes you imagine how easy it is to ride the waves.
This new model from Mayhem moves when you step on the grip!
It's a long and big board that can be enjoyed by people of all levels, from beginners to advanced riders!
"EZ UP"
This board was born from my personal experience.
This board can ride small waves as well as slightly larger waves, and is also ideal for everyday riding by beginners.
I spent that summer surfing close to home at Couch Potato.
As the big winter swells started to roll in, I quickly realized these boards were just too small to perform well.
By extending the length of the board to the extreme and widening the maximum width accordingly,
The outline is also rounded along the length of the board.
The nose flip prevents pearling by preventing the nose from getting stuck during takeoff, which is very effective for beginners learning to take off and for advanced surfers doing late drops on hollow waves.
The template for the rear half of the board from the center is remade and concave is added.
The tail outline has been slimmed down to reduce surface area and the pintail has been rounded for control.
The finished look is reminiscent of a 1970s double-ender, but with a more refined and aggressive rocker, contours and rails, this board is a joy to go surfing.
It's a very friendly board that many surfers can ride well at any level and in any wave. With a silly name that allows anyone to step up their surfing game,
The funny thing is, even when the waves aren't great I still have fun and feel good.
