When making a carving turn, you put the rail in until you can see the bottom surface and then push the tail down to this point.

Uehara-san accompanied us. The board he is riding is a LOST 5'7" V2-GRINDER POLY spec board, chosen from stock boards. He's maneuvering with a lot of tightness and making great turns!

You can see from the photos that the waves were big enough and very good.

He swung his big body around, and even though everyone was already tired and coming up, he didn't finish the climb.
Although MAYHEM is a shaper, he surfs all over the world wherever he goes and is known in the industry as a surfing enthusiast.
This time I went to an event in Tokyo and stayed at the Nishii family home.
On Saturday, I went to Minamiwada in Chiba, as shown in this photo. On Sunday, I went surfing at Shonan Shichirigahama, which was packed with waist-chest-sized surfers.
Mayhem was delighted to encounter many other LOST & PLACEBO surfboard users in the ocean, parking lots, and on the beach. Everyone who spotted Mayhem was also surprised by his sudden appearance.
MAYHEM said that the two-day surf session was a valuable opportunity for them to experience and learn more about the types of waves Japanese surfers ride and the crowded conditions on the weekend, and to develop even more Japan-exclusive models than ever before.
This MAYHEM experience will be reflected in the model design of a surfboard that will be sold exclusively in Japan, so we're looking forward to seeing what happens next!
