STAB IN THE DARK
Julian Wilson x Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos
We would like to introduce a project carried out by STAB Magazine, a US surf magazine.
To 16 shapers,
No mark
Without a signature
I shaped a surfboard for Julian Wilson.
The project involves riding and filming the different boards, and then asking Julian Wilson for his impressions of the boards.
The "Julian Wilson" project is about not knowing whose board it is,
Nishii thinks Julian Wilson is very sensitive about his board,
Especially considering the history of riding the LOST MAYHEM board.
It would have been immediately obvious which was the LOST MAYHEM board.
This board model is Julian Wilson's favorite
It's the LOST "DRIVER" model, after all.
The fins are made of fiberglass, which allows light to pass through beautifully.
This is
the FCSII JW model . It features a slightly smaller center fin.
This is a unique model that is not found in other TRI sets, as it makes it easy to launch with AIR and makes top turns lighter.
Here is an interview with Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos.
#31 Julian Wilson riding the LOST MAYHEM board

JW's thoughts are...
I love the feel of this board. Right or left, it's great in any wave. The spice of this board is the feeling of excitement. It's technically capable of high performance movements.
That's what they say.
It looks like it's going really well, so please take a look.
